Christina Lustenberger, aka "Lusti" is a powerhouse athlete who transitioned from World Cup alpine skiing to becoming a certified ACMG ski guide, big mountain film star, and expedition skier at an impressive pace—much like her downhill and uphill mountain skills. This former Olympic ski racer not only dominates first descents in the BC backcountry but also explores the far reaches of the Himalayas, embarking on her inaugural ski expedition to Nepal in October 2019, and now aiming to ski the Great Trango Tower in 2024.

Described by Powder magazine as "one of the most finely tuned ski mountaineers in North America," Christina left the Canadian National Ski Team in 2008, settling in Revelstoke. Here, she cultivated a new skill set, obtaining her lead ski guide certification from the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. Adding first descents like Consternation Chute in the Selkirks and the south couloir of Adamant Mountain in 2011, where she tackled a line interrupted by a 50-foot vertical wall of ice solo, Christina has become a trailblazer in the world of ski mountaineering.
