Mylo Fowler

Mylo is a husband, father & loves to share stories that are deeply rooted in his Diné (Navajo) culture. He was born at the Navajo Nation capital and raised in Northern Arizona as an 80's kid.

Growing up and living off Navajoland on 12 acres with his grandparents, Mylo learned his Diné language and his appreciation for nature began before he was in school. Among many projects, some of Mylo's favorites were landed the role of "Crush" in the Navajo version of "Finding Nemo”, voiced a joint project with National Geographic and Tonies on a children's book about horses and featured on Apple TV+ of “The Reluctant Traveler” with Eugene Levy. Mylo is fluent in Navajo, French and trying to learn American Sign Language and playing the drums in 2026!

A full time nature and adventure photographer for over 20 years,  Mylo's images have been featured by clients like Adobe Lightroom, Thule, Rivian, National Geographic, Nissan USA, Adidas Terrex, SmugMug, Native Peoples Magazine, Sony Alpha, Arizona Highways, Goal Zero, Hoka, Major League Soccer, Dometic, General Tire, ARI Bikes, Teva, Taxa Outdoors, Proof Eyewear, Overland Expo, Pro Eagle, Peak Refuel, Gitzo and many other outlets.

Some of his favorite adventures include paragliding with his wife in Austria, bike-packing 450 miles from Utah to Arizona and recently photographing killer whales underwater in Norway!

Mylo is happiest with his wife Lauren and their children Denali and Aurora Winter. They live in Highland, UT and are currently building their cabin at their homestead on Navajoland. Mylo really, really loves adventuring in his 100% electric truck, a Rivian R1T the kids named GRIZIAN. He also built “BIGESML”… a Smart Car he put a lift kit on to run larger tires to offroad, haul his bikes with oldies music probably blasting!
